New Uniform for Essex RAYNET

As you will be aware from our previous communications (Newsletter, Chats on Events), the topic of High Visibility Clothing has been a point of discussion, following updated JESIP (Joint Emergency Services Inter-Operability Programme) Guidance + Feedback from User Services such as Essex Police, ECFRS, outside of events.

The Essex RAYNET Management Committee, recently held an Extraordinary Management Meeting, to discuss and decide the future plans for our use of High Visibility Clothing, in light of the Guidance received.

A phased transistional period from January 2026 through to December 2026 will be implementated and after this period no Yellow Hi Visibility clothing will be permitted at events or deployments.  An example to the new uniform is attach above.
