A huge thank-you to you all for your hardwork in ensuring the Santa Fun was such a success on Sunday..

With a remarkable turnout of over 400 Santas, Central Park transformed into a vibrant sea of red, filled with happy and smiling participants. Despite the gloomy weather, the atmosphere was great and the sound of laughter echoing throughout was simply fabulous. We should take immense pride in what we accomplished for Farleigh yesterday, and it’s undeniable that none of this would have been possible without your invaluable help and support, along with the incredible contributions from our volunteers. You are all amazing, and I want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for making the Santa Fun Run 2023 such a great event.

I will be in touch shortly with the dates for our Walk for Life, our Cycle for Life and next year’s Santa Fun Run too.

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and our best wishes for the New Year.

Feedback from The Good Friday Walk for Witness

Hi John and John

It was great to meet you both again on Friday and I wanted to say again a huge thank you for your help  – and that of your amazing RayNet team – in making the event so successful and uneventful!  Please convey my thanks and that of all who participated n the Walk of Witness to all who gave up their Good Friday mornings!

Cheekily, we’d be VERY grateful if you could join us again in 2024 – the event falls on Friday 29th March!

In the meantime, I hope you have had a great Bank Holiday weekend and can enjoy more of the Spring sunshine, in between the showers!

Feedback from Farleigh Hospice Cycle for Life 2021

Dear John and Jason

On behalf of Farleigh Hospice I would like to thank you and all the volunteers from Raynet for attending our Cycle for Life Event yesterday and supporting our cyclists. Thanks to you we were able to offer three great cycling routes of 20KM, 50 KM AND 100KM routes across mid Essex.  The feedback from the cyclists taking part has been amazing with them praising the route, signage, the fantastic marshalling – cheering them on their way around the route and the refreshments offered to them to keep them going! We are hoping the event will have raised over £20,000 allowing us to continue providing essential care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones across mid Essex.   For over three decades, Farleigh Hospice has been providing care for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness or bereavement. We help people to live as actively as possible by providing physical and emotional care, free of charge. We support people affected by any life-limiting illness, including lung disease, neurological conditions, heart failure and cancer. Whether you are ill, bereaved, or worried about someone who is, Farleigh Hospice is here for you. We are committed to continue providing care to those with life limiting illnesses and will continue to do so in their own homes during the Covid 19 pandemic. We are also very aware that there will be even more people needing our services over the coming months and we have been preparing for this increase. Our aim is to keep our staff, volunteers and the people who use our services safe whilst continuing to provide much needed care for those who are at the end of their lives. Your thoughtfulness and your support at this time is so very much appreciated.

Feedback from Jay’s Hospice Chelmsford Marathon

On behalf of myself and the Havens Hospices Events Team I would like to say a huge thank you to you and your team for your support helping make the Chelmsford Marathon such a great success. The event passed without any major incidents and we even managed to keep the rain away 😊 We had a total of 636 runners taking part in the race and we are on target to raise £60,000 for The J’s Hospice service. Social media and our inboxes have been flooded with great comments about the event including;

St Helena Hospice Midnight Walk 2108

Hi Mark, Graham and team

On behalf of the events team at St Helena, I would like to thank you for your wonderful support at our Midnight Walk on Saturday.
We had over 900 participants walking either 3 or 7.5 miles for our 10th anniversary with the majority of participants setting off in their flashing bunny ears and their crazy hair do or wig.
We hope to raise over £85,000 from this event for St Helena in order to help local people in and around our community and their families face incurable illnesses.

Saltmarsh75 2017

Maldon Bubble Rush

Dear Mark and Team,

Farleigh Santa Fun Run

“On behalf of Farleigh Hospice I just want to say thank you very much for supporting our Santa Fun Run on Sunday, we are very grateful!
