St Helena Hospice – Midnight Walk Report

Hi Team,

On behalf of myself, Chris and the team at St Helena Hospice, we wanted to say thank you for your efforts last night.

The event went really well, with only a few medical incidents to speak of and only a few retirees.

The comms for the most part worked well, we have identified a ‘black spot’ near CP4-CP6, that we can easily resolve for future events, either with use of the new Colchester Site or a local crossband/mobile radio use.

APRS worked nicely, with pure RF used locally at Net Control to receive your packets.

We did encounter some trailer mast issues towards the end, but this is in hands of the Engineering Team.

It was quite a late finish in the end, I think most got in around 0400 or later.
