Regular testing identifies issue with County Hall Crossband Repeater
If you ever wondered why the group regularly tests it’s assets, well during the last communications test on the 1st June a problem was identified with the Essex County Hall crossband repeater. Today Graham G8PYD and Jason 2E0XTA made a site visit and found the radio transmitting low power, the radio was replaced and the repeater is now back in action. This proves the importance of regular testing. Testing of all the group’s fixed repeaters is held each month on the first Tuesday, please make every effort to call in and test your own equipment.
