Comms failure at County Hall
At a recent communications test a failure was revealed in the primary vhf/uhf antenna system at County Hall in Chelmsford.
Subsequent testing has proved a fault with the SO239 to N-type adapter which connects to the rear of the Yaesu FT-8900 radio.
Plans a afoot to replace the current PL259 with a N type male plug.
