Hi all,

Thank you to everyone who responded to my call for assistance and a big thank you to those who were able to give up some time at the weekend to assist with this event. The organiser at Maldon District Council would also like me to pass on their thanks and huge appreciation for your efforts at the weekend.

I know from the organisers that this event could not happen without the help and assistance from all the volunteers from Rover Rescue and Essex RAYNET and that there is a huge appreciation from them for our assistance.

This is a good event for RAYNET to support for many reasons such as, it’s good training for us, it’s a large event that challenges us and it is an opportunity to work with the local authority as well as other voluntary organisations such as Rover Rescue.

Thanks again to everyone for supporting this event.
