Success at the AGM

Thank you to everyone who attended the AGM a couple of weeks ago, in our fifth hybrid AGM.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the new management committee for 2026-2027/29.  Congratulations to everyone who was elected.
Results of the AGM elections:
  • County Coordinator – M9XTA Jason Moore will continue as Coordinator & Chairman for a sixth tenure. Following a change to our constitution, this will now be until 2029.
  • Deputy County Coordinator – M9KFG Chris Freebody, was duly elected to support the County Coordinator. Following a change to our constitution, this will now be until 2029.
  • Treasurer – 2E0UCB Chris Barber was duly elected. Following a change to our constitution, this will now be until 2028.
  • Secretary – M0WRB Richard Brindley was duly elected. Following a change to our constitution, this will now be until 2028.
Your new Area Co-ordinator Teams:
  • North Coordinator – Elected M0WRB Richard Brindley, however post AGM and a discussion with the North Area, it was agreed that M9PMR Owen Hutley will now stand as North Coordinator.
  • Deputy North Coordinator – Elected M9PMR Owen Hutley, however post AGM and a discussion with the North Area, it was agreed that M0WRB Richard Brindley will now stand as Deputy North Coordinator.
  • Central Coordinator – M9PSN Gareth James
  • Deputy Central Coordinator – M9NNZ John Doughty
  • South Coordinator – G8YPK Vince Maddox
  • Deputy South Coordinator – M7GXE Pen Wonfor
Area Coordinators and co-opted committee members remain at a tenure of one year, as this was unchanged at the EGM.
The Management Committee can also co-opt up to 6 other members onto the team.
As such, we have the following co-opted roles so far, following an Executive Meeting of the elected committee, which took place on Thursday 23rd April:
  • Social Media Officer – M0NAS Neil Smith
  • Training & Supplies Officer – G8UDD Steve James
  • Committee  Member – M7OGV Derek Drew-Smith
