\u00a0Roger G7RGR was a member of Essex RAYNET for over 20+ years, assisting RAYNET Groups across the UK.
\nSadly, G7RGR passed away following a prolonged period of illness, with his funeral service held at St James Church, Coundon in May 2025
\nWe have setup this webpage to pay tribute to Roger, who was a very active member in Essex RAYNET.<\/p>\n

Roger worked for many years at Bradwell Power Station in Essex, which was not far from his home in Burnham On Crouch, where he built up a considerable knowledge of Electronics, which he would later use in Amateur Radio and in the pursuit of his many other hobbies<\/p>\n

He was also Secretary of the Dengie Hundred Radio Society for many years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roger was always one of the first to volunteer for many events, sometimes up to 12 months in advance – but a keen favourite was the Saltmarsh 75 which went round the Dengie Peninsula!<\/p>\n

Anyone who knew Roger, would classify him as one of the most welcoming, friendly and talkative people ever to grace Essex RAYNET!<\/span><\/p>\n

He will be greatly missed by current and retired members of Essex RAYNET.<\/span><\/p>\n
